areia ou cascalho?
pessoal qual que é melhor areia ou cascalho???

Perhaps someone can translate (Yann or Crisinha, perhaps) this:
I don't believe one is strictly BETTER than the other. It depends on a lot of things:
1. What kind of fish - some fish REQUIRE sand, but many will not care which you have. For example, fish that hide in the substrate may not be able to dig down into gravel, whilst sand will work fine for these. Corydoras don't like too course substrate either.
2. What your tank-setup is like - If you try to use under-gravel-filters, sand is useless.
3. What you like the look of. Sand looks nice in some setups, in others gravel may look better. Depends on "look" you're trying to achieve, really. [Of course, this must be modulated by the fish needs - if you like the look of gravel but the fish needs to dig into the substrate, you may not be able to use gravel].

Eu não acredito que um é estritamente MELHOR do que o outro. Depende dos muitos das coisas
1)Que tipo dos peixes, alguns peixes REQUEREM a areia, mas muitos não se importarão que você tem
2)Como é sua instalação do seu aquario. se vc quer usar um filtro sob-cascalho, areia e inutil
3)Que vc prefeira olhar... areia pode ser bonito em um tipo d'aquario e ser feio em outros, mesmo para cascalho..
