size of tigrinus?

Post by kidman »

guys, what is the maximum size of a tigrinus? i've read that they get 24", but in our species info it says 20".. so which of the 2 is more accurate?

also, what is its growth rate from 6"-12" and from 12"-24/20"?

I have a 26 inch tigrinus currently in my tank,so it does grow bigger than 24 inches,, I would say it might even get over 30" as it gets older.

The size in the catelog is SL, not TL - might help if you specify which one especially with a long finned species like this.

i`d say no written maximum size is really realiable....

your fish can grow over or under

every fish iv`e had just about grow over what there suposed to get by quite a bit and iv`e kept alot.....

it`s all about water changes
