:) Both aeneus and paleatus are easy to breed, including albino versions. Mostly all of these fish in shops are captive bred and will spawn easily.
You will require optimum water conditions, the fish mature and well fed and males and females (obviuosly) Mac.
What we anticipate seldom occurs. What we least expect generally happens.

If you are looking for the easiest of all Cory's to breed and they don't require very much room then look no further than C. pygmaeus

They got C. hastatus at my lokal pet shop. Is this simular to the C. pygmaeus?

If i'm going to breed Corydoras, should i use a 45 liter: 60 x 30 x 30 or a 19 liter :
35 x 30 x 20?

C. pygmaeus are often called C. hastatus bu the trade. C. hastatus are somewhat more delicate and require a little more care than C. pygmaeus.

The smaller tank would be an ideal size. Just add a 10 mm layer of smooth grain sand, a sponge filter, a clump of Java moss and you have all the requirements.

I prefer to use smaller tanks for breeding and larger ones for raising fry.
