Problems hatching eggs

Post by Awugod »

The first time my albino cory's bred, I followed the instruction in the sticky and it didn't work out to well. After five days all the eggs looked like they have fungus growing on them. So this time when they laid eggs all over the glass I just left them where they were. Some of my fish have been picking at them, but there are still quite a few left. All are the cream color as described in the sticky, and I can even see what looks like an embryo or something in them. It has been 7 days since they were laid, and none have hatched. Will they ever hatch, if so how long? Thanks.

If the eggs are fertile they should have hatched by now unless the water temperature in the tank is cold in the mid 60's in this case it can take the eggs longer to hatch.
