Hi -- I have a 55 gal w/ 3 goldfish (Angel, Bubbles, and Flower) and 1 (soon to be 2) dojos (Fred and Tina).
I have a disgarded 10 gallon that I was thinking of peopling w/ fish, and I really like loaches and catfish. Corydoras elegans seems small -- would a few of those be happy in a 10? If so, how many? If not, is there another species that would work for me?
Thanks!
Elizabeth

Sorry i missed this post. Your thoughts of C elegans as residents for your your 10 gal tank would be fine, they are busy Corys and a group of 7 or 8 would look good. Smooth grained sand I consider to be the best substrate. It stays loose and will give the fish a easier time when the sift through it looking for food. A large climp of Java fern would give them an added sence of security and some where to deposit their eggs if they have a mind,
