Peruvian sanchesi

Post by mummymonkey »

This is on a dealer's list:

"Cory. Sanchesi rare River Napo - Peru"

C. sanchesi is, I believe, from Surinam. So what is the fish being offered by the dealer likely to be?

Okay Ian thanks. I've mailed the dealer to ask for a picture or a description.

Actually I was talking to somebody last night who had bought some "Peruvian sanchesi" at an auction last month and he thinks they are an elegans type fish.

There was an earlier discussion about Corydoras Sp. San Juan, and IIRC, it turned out to be an elegans type too... so I guess both our lists are referring to the same fish.
