Corydoras ID

In the package with Corydoras metae from Colombia were few cory's like this one:

He is different from C. metae by a longer nose and stripes on his tail.

Help me ID him please.

My first thought was . Maybe it's Corydoras sp. cf. simulatus

I'm sure the 'Cory guys' will chime in!

As I've replied you on Petfrd, I don't think it is C.simulatus.

definetly simulatus especially if they have come in with metae,as they are found together in the wild (sympatricaly).
i,m breeding these at the moment and colour variation can be quite varied even within the breeding group i.e. barring in the caudal can be strong in one and virtually non-existent in another from the same batch and some individuals have a blotch on the side with darkens when breeding. the list of variations goes on but these are jus a couple i have studied in 3 generations.there is another corydoras c16 which is also very simular and could turn out to be simulatus.

It was my mistake. I didn't express it correctly.

I wanted to say that he didn't have a transparent caudal

fin like a C. metae , but he had some dots on it.

That's why I believe my fish is C. simulatus.
