New crossbreed!!!!

Post by stina »

HI PPL!
I have succeded in crossbreeding L46 and L260 and results are amazing!!!

I now have a sci proof that L333 is in fact a NATURAL hybrid!!
I have counted rays and all things match, will post pics soon...
I plan to call them hypancistrus stinai and the correct L number should be L306!!!(L46+L260)

Nice try! :D

I tried 2 minutes to image how a L46 male should keep a L260 female in his cave!? *lol*

Are you all collectively OUT OF YOUR MINDS?

here's someone who deliberately breeds hybrids and everybody seems as happy as a kid in the candystore

I'm stunned, and really disappointed too

After all the difficulties we've been through with the infamous Czech hybrid Synodontis and ditto Corydoras wich pollute the hobby and pull the scam on many unsuspecting customers; here's a guy from Croatia who breeds hybrids and people are......happy

the only thing that SHOULD be done is to destroy the offsping asap; and
Stina will you PLEASE take a mature view on the hobby and breed L46 OR L260 or at least not mixing them?!?

this is NOT helping the hobby AT ALL

a VERY disappointed Sid Guppy

Stina, what an amazing discovery! I would like to buy several of these fish, what are they going for? Plain L046 are going for one or two hundred, obviously these new rare fish will go for much more than that. I'll write you a check today!

Sidguppy, help me out -- what's the date, for that check I'm writing?

I have produced some hybrid Cories. The cool thing about them is they all have one twisted pectoral fin. It faces the water rather than plain through it. All have only one twisted fin, some on the right, some on the left. The ones with the right twisted fin all swim in clockwise circles. The ones with the left twisted all swim in a counter clockwise circles. If I sell them to someone south of the equator will they reverse direction?

And if I breed a clockwise to a counter clockwise fish will I get fry that swim in somersaults or cartwheels? I know bringing in an upside down catfish would result in backflips, but what could I use to get handsprings?

yeah, guess I fell ijn the ditch headlong

problem is; it's all too plausible!
because A: hybridisation is very REAL and very NOW
B: he's from a formerly Warcschau Pact/communist country, and that's where all these crossbreeds come from. if he was from Germany, I wouldn't fell for it one second.

next to that, I'm actually more surprised it's a joke than it's a real thing because, well, putting it nicely; I'm not overly impressed with the "L-crowd".....

Hype-fish are already victims of their own succes, greed, money-grubbing, imported enemies, ignorance, short-sightedness, indifference, greed, sheer idiocy, habitat-destruction, ruthless captitalism, no ethics, greed and so on.

looking at "my fellow humans"; few things surprise me these days; especially when involving a manureload of cash.

can YOU dig this??

I was reading in the papers this morning what a big thing April Fools is in the UK. I had no idea there were fake news reports and newspapers all day. The story focused on the EU trying to stop it. People here get into heaps of trouble for those kinds of fake news stories. But I completely understand where you're coming from, Sid!

Takes a lot of fun out of it and I'm sure Sid wouldn't want governments telling us how much fun we can have. ;-)
