the long wiskars remind me of a pimelodus cat....but the absence of a adipose and dorsal fin have me confused....

sorry...i couldn't resist putting it on here...lol

Fascinating! I have seen one like this as a contaminant of sorts. When we purchased new, supposedly empty 120 gallon tanks, we found this in one of them:

Obviously not the same species (at least, not the way catfish are classified) but there are some gross similarities. This specimen became quite agitated and left when the tank was filled.

I've found one of those rare species too. I observed numerous times and found the species has the stange behavoir of sleeping on top of the aquarium

Feeding is just like the other species I have.. it loves algeawafers
