My Albino Corys had babies!! - With pics

Post by FishGyrlFriend »

So we were consolidating all our tanks because we'll be moving in a few months so we gave away a bunch of our fish including cichlids, redtail black shark, tetras, etc and kept our catfish, guppies, dwf puffer and orange mollys to be transfered to the 55 gallon tank..when we cleaned out the 10 gallon last night.

Guess what we found.

Albino Cory Catfish babies!!!!! 2 of them. Now our mama cory has been spawning for months and the puffer always eats the eggs, well there were 2 that he didn't get and now we have 2 1/4 inch long cory babies. They are sooooooooooo damn cute.

We're cory mommies!!!!

*dies*

We transfered the 3 albino cory catfish with the 2 babies in a 20 gallon that was already setup and that we moved into my bedroom to be in the same room as the 55 gallon thats already setup so that all the fish are in the bedroom now and not scattered all over the place... The babies only look to be about a week or two old and the mother cory looks like she's gonna spawn again soon, shes real fat again..doesnt help she has 2 males in the tank with her LOL
