best pleco at eating algae

What is the best pleco to buy for eating algae in a 55 gal tank. I have a clown already and was told a brislenose is the best, HELP. :?:

Yes, bristlenoses are the best, with otos coming in a close second.

Which one to get depends on what else you are keeping in the tank.

The smaller the Bristlenose â?? the better algae eater. If it possible with the tank mates, buy them small.
My catfish: Pseudolithoxus anthrax L 235, Ancistrus dolichopterus L 144A, Pseudacanthicus leopardus L 114, Ancistrinae Sp. L 128, Chaetostoma Sp. L 148, Panaque Sp. L 204, Panaque Sp. LDA 001 and Synodontis angelicus.

Bushies by far from my experience. Recently put one about 4 inches in my 105 gal. African tank that had a few rocks covered in algae...little guy had it cleared up completely in about 2 days...not to mention the glass is sparkling as well.
