i'm new to corydoras. bought 8 pieces of this. wondering what they are. thanks in advance!

They are either C. delphax or C. melanistus. A good profile picture would help. :)

I actually think they are C. brevirostris, it is very easy to separate C. melanistius from many of the similar looking species. C. melanistius does not have the irregular vertical baring in the caudal fin.

They are currently in a 75 gallon with panaques and 7 cory aenus "fluorescent green". Do they have a chance of breeding in this setup or should they get a dedicated tank? Water flow is moderate. The tank was intended for the panaques. There are wood decorations and stones.

They have every chance of breeding but I doubt that any fry would survive.
