where would one buy some sand subsrate. i'm planning to set up a tank for a pair of bristlenose pleco.[/img]

Play-pit sand is a good and chaep and safe purchase!

But make sure you get the right stuff! It's often called river sand also, you can buy it in garden centres in bags smaller than 100 kilos too 8) It has rounded edges, this is important esp. for cories so their barbels don't get damaged, but I imagine your bristlies would like it comfy too . . . :roll:
