blue eye
is this a suttonorum or cochlidon... I'm not quite sure I understand the difference. Is suttonorum still valid, or just not ever in the hobby.

ok, so I read this (again) and now it makes more sense. I have a cochliodon.

So, suttonorum or suttoni hasn't been seen since it was described? That part I still don't get. I guess, what I'm asking is, are there two types of blue eyed plecos?

Hi!
Shane surely would be the best person to answer you...
In the past it was thought that the differences between the 2 species was the shap and form of the tail... there might be more than one species whith such feature
They is a undescribed species of Hypostomus (cochliodon group) and Ancistrus that have blue eyes also...
Cheers

The description of also mentions the fins having white edges like L360. Your fish is . I'm sure we'd all be interested in some history on this specimen, is it a new import - where did you get it?
