Hi

The above fish was bought as an upside down catfish and he/she has grown considerably. I'm sorry if the picture doesn't work out very well - I'm none too good at trying to post. If it helps, I can e- mail a better picture.

The fish is about 4 inches long, spends most of his time upside down (hanging on bogwood) and loves algea wafers. If you know what he is, do you know how large he'll grow (I hope not too big for 260L tank!!!)

Thanks for any replies

Corymad

Thanks Silurus

I'm really relieved that he/she will only grow to 6" - he/she's my favourite fish (In a 260L tank full of bogwood, he and the L66 share the same underside of one piece of bogwood peacefully)

Corymad, I've seen a LARGE eupterus at a not-so-local FS that had to be 12" not including fins. I was flabbergasted as I had just bought 2 of them for a 4' (65g) tank. Don't always go by what you read online, as with a large enough tank, lots of food, and massive waterchanges, some fish will get way larger than the "average".
