Cory's that like it hot!

Post by delmore »

I'm like to add a dozen or so Corys to a tank with temperature of 83 degrees. Other fish include Uaru amphiacanthoides and tetras.

What type of Corys (if any) can do well in these high temps? I would like to stay with SA catfish, if possible. Anything else you can reccomend if not Corys? I've heard that Bristlenose pleco would do OK at these temps.

C. gossei are the best bet, they prefer warmer temperatures and I have found they will not breed unless they are in water of 80º or higher.
