When is the best time to strip?
I guessed with this batch and striped at 9 days past spawn. The babies are doing wonderfully, eating and swimming well.
Should I have stripped the cich sooner? Would that have given me more multipuntatus babies?
When are the yolksacks absorbed?
Thanks.

I used to strip mine 3 days post spawn and would have up to 56 Synodontis fry per mouthful. Typically 10-40 per mouthful (varied greatly week to week).
The hardest part to raising them is keeping them from eating each other. It's not until they are strong swimmers (and can evade another) that you can house them tightly together.
