Help with German to English Translation of Catfish Paper

Post by Shovelnose »

Hello all,

I am currently working on a project that requires translation of a paper from German to English (3-4 pages), and would greatly appreciate any assistance from someone fluent in both languages. While I have been able to use Google Translate for this purpose, I would like double check the results with someone who knows the languages and understands basic catfish anatomy as well. This contribution will be acknowledged in project. Please do reach out if you are able to help.

Thanks,
Balaji

Major: Now what's this... stone, stone, stone, (looks down at his hand) and scissors. Now. Scissors cut everything, don't they?
Sergeant: Not stone, sir.
Major: They're very good scissors!!

While not fluent in both - I'm Dutch, not German - I think I could help you with the correction of the Google translation. Let Google do the work and then correct the errors is - by for - the easiest way to translate such a relatively short piece.
