Re: Is this Cetopsis candiru?
I’ve seen your youtube! Is this fish same species as the ones you introduced on youtube recently?
Actually, this fish is now on sale as “ candiru sp” in a shop in Japan . I’m wondering whether to buy this. But if you can conclude this as “cetopsis candiru”,I’ll buy this.

Their color look different to me. Is this like a individual difference?
I really trust you.But your answer is so simple that I’m still a bit worried haha.

We are not one of those places where you get lots of different answers and then go with the most common. What tends more to happen here is someone asks a question and an expert answers it and then it's done. The rest of us just go, well, OK this one is answered, no need to show off. If there is some debate or uncertainty, then others will join in but that is not required here.
HTH,
Jools
PS As to colour, one of them is one a black base, the other bright green and we have no indication of other factors that will affect colouration. It's more about the shape of the fish and pattern than colouration.
