Pictures not being viewed - the red x

I am haiving a problem viewing the pictures on some of the posts, just get a red 'x' in a box. I don't think it's my PC, as I have the same problem when I tried at other locations and PCs. Is there a setting or software that I need to install? I do know Microsoft has a page on it in their knowledge base, but didn't fix it at work. Some I can see, like the blue eyed pleco that was for sale. Thanks for any input

Some sites do not allow remote linking of images, so this is something you cannot do anything about.
