My Micracanthicus vandragti (L280)

Post by AleGer »

I have a group of Micracanthicus vandragti (L280). Up to nine adult fish.
Have no idea on gender.

At first I put them all together in one tank and had some spawnings. Then I split them to two tans. Both groups spawn succesfully.

T: 28-30 C
TDS: 50-100
Tanks size: first 60X80X25h, second 120X80X30h.
I'm feeding them with Pleco ceramics food.

The size of the biggest male is up to 4,5 cm TL

Hi Alex,

great to hear from you again, and even better that you were able to obtain some vandragti and managed to breed them. I remember you were looking for this species for a long time.

cheers
Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Thanks. Yes, I was looking for L280 for a long time and I was lucky that I'd got some.
I like this species, and it even looks better then I expected.

Hi Alex,

the cave your M. vandragti in the first picture uses is amazing. Where did you get this?

Kind regards,
Fabian
