Ode to my USD catfish

Ode to my USD catfish

Awww, so I went ahead and bought the USD catfishes at my lfs and they are so neat! I am really enjoying them so far and I went ahead and wrote a little poem about them:

Fern-like whiskers
Inquisitive eyes
Upside-down catfish
Three inches in size

Dark brown stomach
Light on the back
Upside-down catfish
Eats worms for a snack

You lie on your back
In the PVC tube
Upside-down catfish
Has no attitude

You hide in your castle
Alone in the dark
Upside-down catfish
Thinks it's a shark

You swim right-side up
'Till you're two months old
Upside-down catfish
Why make a move so bold?

So my new fishie friends
I hope you'll agree
Upside-down catfish
Living will be fun with me!



...So I'm no poet, but it's not too bad. *L* :wink:

Thank you, thank you. *takes a bow* I was watching them last night and all the words just came to me! One of them was upside-down in a PVC tube, just hanging out, and the other one was in the castle and it constantly kept peeking out at me. And they are just very nice fishes. :D

Good poem! :D Fish poetry! Oh, do not tell my fellow countrymen! You wouldnt believe how much fish we've got in this country! :shock:

"Outchhh!" I hear, the screm is mine!
The reason is this incredible spine!

Embedded in my bleeding thumb,
For sure I feel incredibly dumb!

Running for doctor this terrible day,
get a larger tank for my spineless Ray!
