New "old" Corydoras species

Post by harroh »

The long time known Corydoras spec. "Asher" or C. cf. or spec. aff. reynoldsi was described now as C. tukano. It is similar to C. reynoldsi and weitzmani but a distinct species.

Corydoras tukano, a new species of corydoradine catfish from the rio Tiquié, upper rio Negro basin, Brazil (Ostariophysi: Siluriformes: Callichthyidae)

Marcelo R. Britto and Flávio C.T. Lima

Neotropical Ichthyology 1(2): 83-91 from 2003.

Hi,

is there a way to download the full article? (From authors pages?!?) Or does someone have a .pdf?
Apart from the colouration, on what differences to C. reynoldsi do they base the description on?

Thanks,

Achim
