What can I breed in a 10gallon....

Post by JK87 »

Hi,
What catfish can I buy to breed in a 10gallon but when I have eggs can be moved out into my 40gallon tank.
Looking for somthing fairly easy to begin with. It is filtered using a internal (which is ment for a 30gallon tank, use a spray bar, so not alot of current, but can be taken off) it is arated by the use of the spray bar and an bubble wall going the whole lenght of the tank.
What would you reconmend the tank should be set-up like..pots slate..broad leaved plants?

Any other info greatly appriciated.

JK87,

Most of my breeding tanks are 7 gal (UK) or less, but I mainly breed Cory's.

Otocinclus, bristle nose Ancistrus, Rineloricaria, smaller Hoplo's, as well as any Cory species. There are al lot of suitable candidates out there.

The tank should be set up to suit the species rather than a general set up.

Just out of interest, which part of Brum are you from?
