Hi
Congrats!!
Can you tell us more about your fish, what are their size, how long have you kept them?
What is the tank size, water parameters...etc..
Looking forward to see more pictures of the young development
Cheers
Yann

Re: 1st Italian xanto parancistrus aurantiacus spawn
Hy yann , thanks for ur congratulation and sorry for my bad english , i have 7 fish , I bought first fish in october 2013 , other 2 in january and i close my group in march 2014 , are not easy to find , they come from glaser by my friend and customer nicola menegozzo. usually they are full black , but when i bought they are all gold. full gold or full black they have the same price.I put the fish in a small tank , 300 liter with a sump, because they are not huge size , from 10 to 13 cm , I thought they are still small to breed , i have a 700 liter aquarium ready when they grow . when they spawn i have ph7 200ms 27C (nothing special) , everything managed by aquatronica system , i have a automatic changing water sistem , more or less i change 15 20% water .
in the early days of hacthing i have some problem with a eggtumbler , its the first time i use it and the problem was little movement of the eggs inside . i make a little mod to give more air and more movement inside , but i have only 1 survivor , I think that in the future will be better

Lello,
If you want to pull all this information together into an article I would be happy to apply a light tidy up to the English and add it to the Shane's World section of the site if you would like. There is not a lot of information on the captive breeding of this species.
Cheers,
Jools

I just realise I didn't answer this directly. If you could provide an article in as good English as you can manage, I can edit it and add it to the site. Furthermore, any pictures I can add too. You can send these to webmaster@planetcatfish.com.com.Lello wrote:hello,
thanks Jolls , where can i write this article ? i am happy if you can help me
Cheers,
Jools
