A better pic would be needed for a positive ID, but you can start comparing to or . The latter being pretty easy to spawn, so there's a good chance it's eggs were in the plants you picked up. The former is a dwarf species and could have been hiding in the plants when they were picked.

My one is closer to Corydoras habrosus and it behave as an adult, so may be it is dwarf cory.jvision wrote:A better pic would be needed for a positive ID, but you can start comparing to or . Any chance on better resolution or quality. IMO, that's not a Cory. I'm not familiar enough with other Calycthidae, so maybe someone else will be able to help

Re: Is it possible to ID this cory?
It's a juvenile corydoras. Probably an aeneus or close relative.

Re: Is it possible to ID this cory?
I lean towards that little guy being a Corydoras paleatus because of it's large dorsal fin, stretched body and mottled color pattern.
C. habrosus fry tend towards a stockier build although their fry are just about the same size at hatching as most of the non-dwarf species.
