S.A. Bumblebee Catfish squeaking?

I have two bumblebee catfish in a 35 gallon tank; I had just turned the light off for the night and like usual the two catfish came out from their hiding spots and started swimming around. A few seconds later they started chasing eachother (not that usual, they're quite territorial towards eachother) but then they started squeaking! I know some catfish can grunt and croak but I'd never heard of bumblebee catfish making noise not to mention squeaking! Has anyone else heard of this?

There are a number of SA cats commonly called "bumblebees" which species are you referring to?

Hmm, I've seen mine do some crazy stuff but have never heard a thing from them. Perhaps someone else has. I'm very curious now.

Yeah I've looked everywhere online and can't find anything about them making noise. Either way their awesome little fish! Haha
