Hi,
I have three striped Raphael catfish, that are sick, actually only one left as I have had to euthanize one and the other passed away.
Quick bit of background on the fish.
They were in a 200litre holding tank with four Hoplo’s and two angels as i am in the process of a messy house move.
Tank is well filtered etc, the parameters for the tank are temp 25c, ammonia 0, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 30ppm. PH 7, weekly water change 25%
I noticed a bacterial infection on my angel then an ICH outbreak due to the weakened fish, I have been treating with Esha 2000 and Exit.
One Raphael remains and is out during lights on, swimming at the top of the tank the same way as the other two that are now gone.
I don’t want the fish to suffer a horrible death see attached picture of the one that passed away. But I don’t want to euthanize if there is a chance I can save him.
The Hoplo’s and Angels are fine and responded well to the treatment.

I lost 6 elder Raphaels to Velvet just a month before yours.
If you wish to try again later, for ICH, I have had a lot of success with raising the temperature to 82°F/27.78°C and adding a bit of aquarium-safe salt - half dosed for the scaleless fish. My babies made it through 3 outbreaks just fine with that method, it was the Velvet that did mine in - and it being my first time dealing with Velvet, too.

Sorry to hear about your loss Not to long ago i had a out break with my beautiful zebras and lost 2 large adult males after keeping them for 3 years with out a problem i have attached a photo as they looked very similar to your Raphael catfish i put it down to a internal systemic bacterial infection of some sort beause of the reddening of the skin it happened very fast! My best guess is it came from wild pair i introduced to the tank! as i have a few tanks just for plecs which all get the same water food etc but with there own nets so as not to pass on any outbreaks and they were all fine.
Any way as these are my prized plecs i teated the tank with Interpet anti-internal bacteria and used a dip treatment of Mardel maracyn two + usnea and it did the trick thankfully i did not lose anymore plecs and all are happy and healthy again
