Feeding Zuchinni?

Post by CommonBrownPleco »

Wow, I have stumbled into a world I thought I knew something about only to find I KNOW NOTHING! I have 2 Common Brown Plecos and a small light brown one that I have not yet identified. The largest of the browns is Approx 14" and I feed him a zuchinni every two weeks. Is that a proper diet for plecos? He always seems to be hungry and will even eat flakes. Help. [/b]

My common brown pleco loooves his algae wafers! I feed him a third of one (they are kinda big) twice a day and it makes him very happy. :D

Here are lots of ideas on what else to feed your pleco. Most of the foods mentioned in there should work.
