Problem staying logged in
I used to be able to stay logged in when the box was ticked. For a while now (possibly since Firefox upgrade?) I couldn't stay logged in but now I can't even log in and then click on an email link. I tried to update my cats from the email and it says I am not logged in although I am logged in in another window.
Any ideas - do I need to change anything in Firefox or Norton?

Re: Problem staying logged in
Staying logged in is device and browser specific as it uses cookies to do this. So, any limitation on cookie usage and swapping between devices and or browsers will show this behaviour.
Editing My Cats from an email link will only work seamlessly if you are logged in with the browser that your email software is configured to launch prior to clicking the link.
Now that I've explained all that, is it behaving like that or is there still something not working as it should?
Cheers

Re: Problem staying logged in
As an alternative to browser settings, a password manager such as LastPass can also be setup for autologin.
LastPass is a free download which works well with any browser into which it has been added.
Apps such as LastPass are really helpful as you only have to remember it's password to access and edit all your sites' login info.

Re: Problem staying logged in
Thanks - somehow it was set up for no cookies specifically on PC. Seems to work fine now.
