Feeding info for Pseudancistrus

Post by jvision »

I just picked up 4 Pseudancistrs sp. 67 and am trying to figure out if I should be supplimenting their diet. I have them in a high flow tank with some Ancistrus ranunculus. I feed the ranunculus NLS Thera+A (they seem to like higher protein), but I'm wondering if I should switch the tank to Community pellets (a bit less protein), and/or add veggies like peas and zuccini.

Thanks!

Jason, they have been eating cichlid grow pellets, colorbits and zuccini well when they were here.

I tossed in a cube of Repashy (3:1 Meat:Soilent) this morning thinking it'll last them til I get home tomorrow night. They were already rasping all surfaces w/in an hour of introduction to the tank. I'll try NLS wafers next - all of my larger plecos like it (114,91,128) so they might too.
