Does look like an exact copy of Parancistrus aurantiacus to me, still. I had -until very recently four fish that could have been clones from that one.

From above a very "fat" and spiny, obese fish, right? almost triangular?
Plan B should not automatically be twice as much explosives as Plan A

I was going on the opercular odontodal growth and the shape of the sucker mouth. Now I'm not so sure... Can we get a picture from above to show the following difference in head width.

Interesting and Beautiful. I just love catfishes. I like the strippy one behind the white one.

Heres L269 on a german L site http://www.l-welse.com/forum/index.php? ... =03&ID=274 are the elongated fins any indicator for the Tapajos fish?

is L 056 parancistrus,well done.
