Great!

You "sign up" by adding fish to your "my cats" (using the "add" button on the datasheet for the species in the Cat-eLog).

Then you go to your "My Cats" list [e.g. by following the link to the right of one of your own posts) to "Add breeding log".

The more information you add, the more points you get. And of course, the more species you add breeding reports for, the more points you get!

The exact calculation for points is a bit complicated, and there's still some components of the scoring that may alter (which will apply to all breedign records)

Thanks Mats!
Does old breedingreports count?
Cause i have been newborn when it comes to pleco. I have not breed or keept pleco for 3-4 years. But for a month ago i bought a male and female of L201 and they have started to breed and i have now 19 fry of them and more to come hopefully.

My final level is to breed Pterygoplichthys gibbiceps in aquarium, i know im gonna make it b-)

Thanks again Mats!

Yes, you can record breedings for things you've bred in the past, no problem.

This reminds me I must write something up on how all this works. Good to be reminded!

this point interests me at very high level !!! it's not the subject of this topic, but could you open a topic on it ? I'd love to share information about it... I see a main problem in breeding Gibby : they are known to use caves in river banks to spawns... I've tried to reproduce this in aquarium... not that easy... even with terracota...

btw, I added my breeding reports in the "breeder board"... nice tool ! could it be interessting to authorize linking between breeding reports and articles already available on PC ?

@Jools : explanations on "how it works" could be interessant...

1. ElTofi with 373 points from 1 species (avg. 373)

:-\ I'm not sure to understand what the "from 1 species (avg. 373)" means...
the Potamotrygon adventure has begun...

Bump. Are we at a good point to push this forward since several folks have started using it?

And the real question is how to find the board.

If you select it when it is showing on the front page, the implication is that it's path is Cat-eLog -> breeder board.
BUT
If you select the Cat-eLog page then there is no link to it, so sometimes I need to keep refreshing the home page, to get the breeder board to cycle through, in order to see the other breeding reports. Or perhaps I am missing something?

Yes, I really DO need to write up something on it.

Yes, there is a link or two missing for it. I need to add a link to the catelog main page, the dropdown menus and also add breeding reports to the species data pages.
