It's hard to say for sure, but I think it's a

Pterygoplichthys

of some sort. Any chance of a clear, side on photo with the dorsal fin raised?

Pterygoplichthys

to me.

The dorsal fin is not the problem, as they are 100% no doubt

Pterygoplichthys

without even needing to look at the fin.

The species is the difficult bit though. If it was anywhere else in the world, I would say farmed

Pterygoplichthys pardalis

for sure, but being in Brazil, it could have been wild caught (perhaps locally). The adult one looks different to P. pardalis too, as the chevrons don't seem to be apparent.
