Bronze Cory's fighting?

Post by Belair03 »

I have 2 bronze cory's which seem to be fighting with each other....but everything I have read suggest that this shouldn't be the case and that Cory's are not aggressive. Has anyone else ever experienced this? I have a video (I hope this works!)

30g tank
Ammonia 0
Nitrites 0
Nitrates 20
Temp 78

2 bronze Cory's
3 albino Cory's
6 cardinal tetras

Bronze cories need to be in groups of 6 or more. As in most species, there will be a need for a dominant one and I would say your have 2 males and they are just sorting each other out. As stated though I would however add more Bronzes to the tank if you can. cheers jk b-)

My bronze corys chase each other around all the time, but it seems like they're just playing. I wouldn't worry about it.
