I still haven't figured out how to upload my catfish photos for expert ID. I have emailed them to
individuals, so how do I send them to PC?

Thanks,
Ben

Not quite sure what you mean by "upload my catfish photos for expert ID"...
Do you mean as a "I want submit a photo to be published as the official photos for a species" or "I have a photo of my fish, and I'd like to know what it is?" - I'm guessing it is the second. This is done as you write a post in the relevant forum, you use the "Upload attachment" to add the photo to your post.

Since modern dgitial cameras produce quite large pictures, you may need to first resize it to a size smaller than 800 pixels on the longest side - if you use Windows on a PC, you can use any photo editor - if you haven't got something like Photoshop on your machine, google for "Irfanview". IrfanView is a small program that is quite easy to use. You can then use the "Image->Resize" option to change the size of the image.

There are two reasons we require a certain size:
1. Smaller images saves space on the server and download time for those viewing the picture.
2. If the image is big, it won't fit on most peoples screen, so it becomes quite hard to see the whole image at once.
