Longfins refuse to eat

Post by Jaycal »

I got a group of 6 bn longfins about 6 days ago. I put them in my 20 long with a seeded sponge filter. They have not eaten at all for 6 days. They were nice and plump when I got them and they are shriveling up looking very skinny now. I have tried everything, hikari algae wafers, green beans, nls pellets, zucchini, green lettuce, spirulina flake nothing works. They stay in one spot and dont move. What else can I try and feed them so they dont die on me.

Thanks

And you have, I guess, checked that you have no nitrite or ammonia?

Yup. All parameters are good. Did a few water changes, always use prime for dechlorinator.

At the top of this forum there is a sticky with a list of information that we need to help diagnose and solve issues. If you could give us that information, rather than making it be drawn out question by question, it would be most helpful ;). Thanks! I'm guessing they are cold, but it's all just wild guesswork without more base information!
