I really like chaca and have always had a soft spot for them. Good luck with yours.

They are very nice! Do you know how much is true about the story that they can lower the ph of a tank quickly? (supposed to be from some kind of stomach acids or something)

I dono how true / untrue it is. People who have kept this species for a longer period (got my first C.chaca end 2009) or kept 'em with other fish might have something more to narrate.

Very nice fishes , I used to keep a 8'' one some time back. I'm in singapore and strange enough I haven't seen this fish for a long time even though the countries they are from are pretty near. Which is the most commonly imported species?

I am in South India. :d No importing. Just the transporting of fish from the north as it native to the northern part of India.

I dono 'bout the other species though.

Hello from Polish. Chace refresh thread, I want to be as much about them. I'm looking for these fish near the Polish to my tank Asia. What are their selling prices, or someone may have to offer? Pardon me for my English :) I envy the colleagues from Asia, access to such a wide variety of fish ...
I greet
Marcin!
P.S.
Sorry for my English ...
