Creamy background but I think you have some nice L333 juveniles.

These fish are to small/young to tell what they are if you don't have any background information.

But I tend to go with Claro on the first fish being/looking like a L340. It has a long headshape.
The second fish could be anything. Maybe a L270??
Every great achievement begins with a dream ;-)

Is there any distinct evidence that they are two different species? I would have thought that if they were shipped together, and similar size, they came from the same place and are the same species. Of course, I'm only guessing that they are posted together and thus were bought together in the same shop at the same time...

Hi,

I think that both fish are L340/L129. The young fish L129/L340 are a large variation in color, but the stripes are thin. so I can say that it isnt L270 or L 333. Both of these species have bands wider and not so nice contrasting color. And L 333 are generally robust.

hi jac ,MatsP,claro thank you for your reply.
sorry i forgot to tell you guys about these two
fishes.
i bought together in the same shop at the same time.the seller told me they came from Xingu as L333.
After that i tried to looking for the infomation and pic about L333 juvenile size.
the pic of L333 juvenile look quite defferent with my fish then i saw pic of L129 and L340 i thought that might be my fish.
The hard actually thing for me is L129 and L340 they look very very similar not just even juvenile size. Some L129 still look like L340 when they grow up.

to claro... the second pic the white one and yellow one there are variety color of L340?
do you have any pic of L129 juvenile size or same with L340 that you posted.

thank a lot for your pics and info.
