Help on sexing L46
Hi,
My H.zebra are now 5.5-6cm.
Any idea about the sex (and what makes you tell so)?
Thanks,
Fabien

Re: Help on sexing L46
They are not the easiest Hypans to sex but they do look more like females to me, maybe because they are not mature enough yet, do they all tend to hide in caves or under objects as the females tend not to cave, but this is not allways the case. There are no mature males in there i would say.Thats just going on my instinct as a breeder of hypancistrus.
Good luck
Good luck
Re: Help on sexing L46
Ok, it would not be a problem for me to have 7 females..
A breeder suggested 4 to be a female and 1 to be a male with 90% confidence, while the others are still to young (or the picture does not give sufficient information).
Any comment?
