Longfin paleatus albino cory?

Post by igol66 »

The title explains all. What are albino longfin paleatus cories? Are they rare, does anyone have one or a picture they can share? I didnt find their profile here.

I used to be schizophrenic, but we're OK now. At least that's what my dog is always telling me!

Same as any other C. paleatus. Personally, I don't measure the length of fish. Check the Cat-e-log for pertinent information. - Frank

The long fin albino C. paleatus is a man made strain and does not occur naturally.

I own three of them and am working on breeding them.
Mine look much better than the photo shown in a few posts above, their fins are not bent like that..
I'll post a pic latter when my camera works.

This particular specimen was chosen from the group to show just how incredibly ugly these fish are. UGGGGGGGGGLY!!! - Frank

To answer the first posters question about them being rare.

I would think not, as I saw about 100 stuffed into a tank at my LFS yesterday, they were priced at $4.99 each or $11.99 for three, think that the ones I saw must have been mass bred from one of the fish farms, the albino strains always look to be very weak to me :YMSICK:
