I have found two of them in a store next to my house/
it looks nice' what kind is it ? what can you tell me about it ?

the cat in my pic has a light broun colour and not white/silver as in the link you gave me.
is it still a Synodontis ocellifer?

Synodontis ocellifer is more of a beige/brownish color than silver. Synodontis nigrita is another possibility, but the spots are too large to be that of S. nigrita.

i have a new empty tank for ciclids, nothing in yet (hay! i must start with a cat first dont i ?)
what kind of ciclids will live happilly with it ?
(sorry no more pics).

Most cichlids that are not too aggressive should do fine. This depends on whether you want hard-water or soft-water cichlids (the syno would be happier in soft water, but should have no problem adjusting to hard water).

I'll buy this cat today (8cm long) and buy some smaller and not agressive ciclids as well.

All cichlids are aggressive to some extent, just some more than others. ;-)
