Hello

For me 100% a L263, because of the white stripes at the end of the fin.
The body color and dots are quite the same with L263 and L314. But L314 never shows any white colors at fins.

Are you sure about that?
Look at the pictures of a L314 here at planetcatfish.. They all have some white on their fins.

Well I don't wanna say the pics here are wrong!
Those L314 I've seen live don't have any white at the fins!
Maybe juvenils have? Haven't seen any...so don't know.
L263 is bit more grey while L314 is bit more brown.
So also from that point, yours look like L263 to me.
It was a bit bad written from my side. It's not only the white tip at the fin, looking at this loricaridae at least I am sure this is a L263.

Anyways, L314 is super rare.
In Switzerland, one guy has like 7 of them.
And I think in Germany also only one has them, both since some years!
In other words L263 is more common and have't seen any imports of L314.

Why aren't you sure that this is L314? b-)

I think the German guy who has L314 is also sometimes on this forum. Maybe he gonna share his experience as well.

You write: you've bought THEM as L314.
So you have more than one?
How do the others look like?

Maybe compare here?

Yeah, I think you're right!
I'll gonna make another picture, and post it here.
After comparing at this site, mine look definitely looks like L263, unfortunately!
They were sold as L314..
I've got 4 of them, all about 6-7cm TL.

Thanks for your input!
