HI!

No it is not Peckoltia vittata.
Your fish look pretty much like L170 ( the original one not the one in the Aqualog)
It would be great if you could post a picture of the dentition of your fish.

I don't know if you feed your fish bloddworms often ( but by the look of you fish it seems like it) but you really should avoid feeding them these too often, a maximum of twice a week is good and the rest of the time commercially prepared food such as spirulina tabs and vegetables should be given...
Cheers

HI Yann, (sorry to hijack here), why should blood worms be limited to 2 times a week?

My wife made the mistake of buying me a 2 ft tank and it grew to 7ft.

Hello.

Thanks yannfulliquet.

I'll try to take a photo of the dentition, but is dificult take a photo of this fish.

I don´t feed the fishes with bloddworms, the usually eat spirulina tabs and some times bloddworms, artemia and some vegetables.

Thaks.

So as not to clog the long gut of the Peckoltia. Excess protein in there can cause bloat, among other things.

Hi karakorum,

Hi!

To me without much doubt your fish is L170.
Not so commonly seen fish!
That would be great if we could use your pic for the cat-elog gallery, I am sure Jool would greatly appreciate!!
Cheers
