Update!

All the fry is growing, and growing very fast! I only lost one more and the rest are eating four times a day.
I feed them with sera viformo and home made fish food.... works very well..

Still not the best photos.... :? I will try better next time

Even if the photos aren't great, I think we should add some of them to the Cat-eLog. There's space for three new pictures with "low entry criteria". Obviously, if you can get some better pictures, that would be fantastic.

Mats, If you need better photos, tell me what you need and I will get you better photos of them....

I have a Canon EOS that takes better photos than the Olympus I use for the moment.

I quite like the fact that you are showing them in the growout tank - we have a single fry in a photo in the Cat-eLog.

Very nice. If you e-mail the pictures in original form, I can process them and get them onto the Cat-eLog page.

The fry are getting red tails!

Caused by my self. I lost half the grop in one of the raising tanks (101 fry) :( ... I was mad, but I still have around 70- 100 fry left... and they are growing fast. :)

They are very difficult to get photos of as they are getting faster and faster. I have them in a 200 liter tank wich makes it even harder. I will try to make a image update soon!

I hope that I will do much better next time as my beeding tanks are finished.

Very sorry to hear about your loss. Even so, your success rate is still much higher than any spawn in the wild. Efforts like yours will hopefully lead to less wild needing to be caught stock while still helping hobbiest's enjoy 'nature in abundance.'

The tank was 300 liters. They where just there temporary so I was very lucky to breed them there. Now they are in a much bigger aquarium where I planning on breeding them in bigger scale.

Now they are bigger! 3,5- 4 cm

Made in Sweden:

There is also a L240 juvenile among the L114s...

According to the L600/L114 article I will be able to tell what sex they are going to get in a few more months. Will be interesting to see if this is correkt.

I will save 6- 7 females and add a new male for them when they are big enough. I don't know how old my breedining gruop is, so I'm planning for the future.

Hi Yann!

The other fry is a L240 that i cought by mistake.

I really wish to breed L273 as well... but I don't have any at the moment. My next Pseuda challege is L25. I got four 10 cm fishes so there is still some time before they are mature. I would really whant to get my hands on a pair of LDA 105 seemes to be a prittey fish.

At the moment I have the male with a much bigger female. She is almost as big as he is. If she is not to old, I hope they will breed... but I will wait and see this winter if she can get gravid (I don't know how old she is)...

Cheers
