long time visitor, first time poster.
Primarily a planted tank angel keeper I gained interest in L144's due to the adult size staying smaller than the common. This site has been a great information source and questions as I add these little guys will probably arise.

By "Common" to you mean "Common pleco" or common bristlenose - the latter should grow to exactly the same size as what is sold as L144 in the US, as they are the same species - just different colour forms.

Curious now and don't see a photo of L144 listed. How is the color form different?
