Hello
Hello
Hi,
i have had my tank of cats for about a year now. Although I have them more as pets than being an entusiast. I have:
1 x Royal Panaque
4 x Zebra Corys
1 x Metae Cory
6 x sterbae corys
3 x Brochi (not sure what type)
1 x unknown cory
4 x scissor tails (not cats I know but they are great scavengers)
6 x zebra danios (also not cats but great top cleaners)
My boyfriend Darren has a tank too with
4 x zebra plecs
5 x rainbow minnows
5 x cardinals
We have been told that sea monkeys make great food and breed like crazy, I know these are basically a hybrid type brine srimp. Has anyone tried this and dos it work. we curently feed them on frozen foods but its a tad expensive and I worry about live food that I don't know where its come from.
Any Ideas or thoughts
Andrea

Hi Andrea,
Welcome on board, as I've written elsewhere recently it is seen as good manners in this forum to put something in the location part of your profile. It is a very international forum and if we know where you are then that way we can give local and better answers.
I'm intrigued - what is being sold as a zebra cory?

soz ment panda - was trying to type whilst having banging a crashing in my ear!!.. plus looking at Darrens zebra plecs..
Maybe you should invest in a better forum if you want to know where i am cos when you register it does not ask you that question!!..
If you are just gonna be pandantic and petty I will ask elsewhere..
maybe it peeps like you that give fishkeeping a bad name..

You donate some cash to the site and I may invest in some new forum software. That said, we are running a pretty decent piece of software. If you check the registration screen you will see that it asks for your location. I am not being either pedantic or petty - you asked a question that could have a different answer depending on where in the world you live - we don't all live in the same country as you! Have a little lurk around - you'll see what I mean.Andrea wrote:Maybe you should invest in a better forum if you want to know where i am cos when you register it does not ask you that question!!..

As to me giving fishkeeping a bad name, I think not.

Andrea,
Got any pics of your mystery cory - we should be able to ID it for you.
