Hoplo Cats
Hope this is in the correct forum! Anyhow, I have three hoplo cats that I am keeping in a 20G long tank together with a few Xiphophorus helleri (wild type). The tank is a bare bottom setup with lots and lots of Java moss, a Hydrosponge filter, and a heater. The hoplo cats built bubble nests pretty regularly every few weeks. It is fascinating watching them built the nest, but it always disappears after a few days, and I would really like to get some fry. Initially I thought I'd just give them a chance to become more experienced, hoping after a few tries they would get the hang of it, and bring up some fry, but so far no luck. What can I do to actually get some fry?

Re: Hoplo Cats
I'm sure it will be moved, but FYI it should have gone into 'South American Catfishes (Callichthyidae - Corys et al)'.
