average pleco prices in aus

im just wondering how much plecos cost in australia.

im looking for expecially L204's

Hi I am from canberra it is my understanding you would be looking at $300 or even upwards if you can find them ,but unfortunately have no info on where to get L204s

oh ok i recently found out that l204 are quarantined from australia. i would really reccomend you to go to red tree aquariums in fyshwick. 1 of my friends own the shop.

right now i saw some farlowella and alot of marine fish and corals they also sell a wide range of plants sometimes the sell dif plecos like sailfin but they are way too epensive so thats why i was wondering if there were cheap plecos in canberra

Sailfins starting (i think) at $80 at petland in phillip for 8-10cm but that was a little while ago, I will have to have a look at the farrows at redtree next time i am in the area

the farlowella seem to dissappear quickly though! im trying to convince my parents if i could could get those and there was also another pleco there but i cant really remember what it was it was orang and thats all i remember!

Just saw 4 L204s in Melbourne go for $2200 on an aussie fish forum, and the post was only hours old. Looks like they are in very high demand, but they are availiable to buy if you get lucky.

I missed out on the 4 for sale regrettably, Flash pleco's are very hard to come by and the cheapest I've seen them is for sale by MIKEW months ago on www.plecofanatics.com Australian classifieds - $375 ea @ 3-4cm. Amazing Amazon in Melbourne had some and may ship but they were going for $595 @ 4cm or thereabouts!!!!!!
