2 different species

Post by FishFreak95 »

I have 2 1inch catfish, 1 of them is pretty shiny and has a forked tail and hes pretty light colored, the 2nd is black with white on the bottom and has longer whiskers and a tail with a flat end on the tail. I think the first one is a channel catfish but im not sure. I caught them out of the Rio Grande. Any Ideas of what they are?

Most certainly ictalurids. Look through some of the photos in the Cat-eLog, or better yet take some pics of them and post them here.
